Articles on: Payouts

Why was my payout method rejected?

We prefer paying out performers directly

If you are the owner & main performer of a FairPay account, you must get a payout method in your name.

For the most part, we payout earnings to the account owner and content's main performer. We do not pay out friends, boyfriends, girlfriends, husbands, wives, or otherwise.

We mean to payout the main performer of the content being sold to steer clear of potential human trafficking. We moderate every new payout method.

In case you are a couple, a group, or more of a producer, we will reach out to you to ask for additional information. We may also reach out to the other performers in your content to approve your payout method.

Special case: companies

If you operate a company and have incorporated your business, we are able to make an exception to the above principle once we have received and verified the necessary documentation.

Please reach out to support so that we know of your situation, and we will let you know how to proceed.

Other special cases

If you believe you have a particular case this article does not address, don't hesitate to contact support. However, please know that we will start paying out earnings only once we're confident everything is legit.

If your case is particular, we recommend clearing your payout method with us before you start selling.
