Content Storage Fee

We charge you $0.02 per month per GB of content you've uploaded to FairPay.

The first 10 GB are free.

The Content Storage Fee is charged monthly on the 1st day of the new month. The fee depends on the total size of your files at this time.

Only the size of videos and photos you upload to FairPay (including preview videos) counts toward the Content Storage Fee.

Examples

If you have 20 GB of videos you sell with FairPay, you will pay $0.20 per month in Content Storage Fee.

With 100 GB of content, you would pay $1.80 per month. With 1 TB of content (1000 GB), you would pay $19.80 monthly.

Why does FairPay have a Content Storage Fee?

At FairPay, we believe you should pay for what you use - no more, no less. It is the way forward to offer the best rates so that you earn the most when selling with us.

We try our best to maintain this fee as small as possible. Our price is lower than what Amazon Web Services offer to tech companies for content storage!

VAT fee

If you are in Europe, we must apply VAT to our fees based on your country of residence.

The rate depends on your country, and we pay the entirety of the VAT collected to the state (we make no profit on this and act out of legal obligation).

For example, if you are in France, which has a standard rate of VAT of 20%, and your Content Storage Fee should be 1 Euro, it will be 1.20 Euro once we apply the VAT.
